More Endorsements for Pride Month!

Washington D.C. (June 21, 2022) –  LPAC, the only organization dedicated to electing LGBTQ women to local, state, and federal office, is excited to announce a bonus Pride month endorsement slate consisting of 6 amazing LGBTQ women.

With these candidates, LPAC has now endorsed 91 candidates for the 2022 election cycle. This is the most-ever in the history of the organization — each endorsement announcement from here on out will be a record for LPAC! We are excited to be on our way towards supporting over 150 candidates by November 2022.

Almost 75% of the candidates LPAC has endorsed this election cycle are running for state legislative office. With the Supreme Court likely to dismantle Roe v Wade, and the table being set for further rights to be rolled back at the Federal-level, having a firewall of LGBTQ women in state legislatures is crucial to protecting our values and freedoms. We are honored to stand with them -- it couldn't be more important.

This endorsement slate includes:

  • Brion Curran, Minnesota State House

  • Assemblymember Jessica González-Rojas, New York State Assembly

  • Ally Layman, West Virginia House of Delegates

  • Elinor Levin, Iowa State House

  • Giona Picheco, Rhode Island State House

  • Monica Davidson, Saline County Justice of the Peace (Arkansas)
