10 Pride Month Endorsements!

Washington D.C. (June 6, 2022) –  Happy Pride! LPAC, the only organization dedicated to electing LGBTQ women to local, state, and federal office, is excited to announce a new endorsement slate featuring 10 incredible candidates.

With this slate, LPAC has now endorsed 82 candidates for the 2022 election cycle. This is the most in the history of the committee, and it's only June! We are well on our way to endorsing a record 150 candidates.

During Pride month we are particularly reminded of the importance of representation and electing LGBTQ women to public office. We are grateful to Kathy Kozachenko -- who in 1972 became the first-ever openly LGBTQ person to win elected office in the United States -- and women like Sen. Tammy Baldwin, Gov. Kate Brown, and hundreds of others who have followed in her footsteps.

This month’s endorsement slate includes:

  • Erin Maye Quade, Minnesota State Senate

  • Emily Randall, Washington State Senate

  • Gerri Cannon, New Hampshire State House

  • La'Tasha Mayes, Pennsylvania State House

  • Greta Neubauer, Wisconsin State Assembly

  • Taylor Small, Vermont State House

  • Lee Snodgrass, Wisconsin State Assembly

  • V Fixmer-Oraiz, Johnson County Board of Supervisors (IA)

  • Janice Lee, Bay Area Rapid Transit Board (CA)

  • Mary Moriarty, Hennepin County Attorney (MN)
