Kelly-Jeanne Lee is running for an open seat on the Atlanta City Council to represent the 1st district.

Lee is a teacher and member of the executive board of her local neighborhood association. This is the first time she has run for elected office.

Her campaign is focused on affordable housing, building and repairing sidewalks and other critical infrastructure, and supporting small businesses in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

There are currently no openly LGBTQ women serving on the Atlanta City Council.
