Gerri Cannon

 
 

Gerri Cannon is a Democrat running for re-election to the New Hampshire House of Representatives.

Cannon was first elected in 2018 and is running for a second term. She is one of only four openly trans state legislators in the United States. Cannon is also a member of the Somersworth School Board, first elected in 2017.

Cannon’s priorities are protecting LGBTQ rights and updating New Hampshire to allow for birth certificate changes for trans and non-binary people, ensuring public schools are adequately funded and improving access to healthcare and human services.
