Gabby Salinas

Gabby Salinas is running for re-election to the Tennessee House of Representatives.

Gabby Salinas is a three-time cancer survivor, scientist, and healthcare advocate. Twenty-seven years ago, her family immigrated from Bolivia to Memphis so that she could receive treatment at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Gabby has served as chair of the Shelby County Democratic Party and led the party to historic wins in 2022.

In November of 2024, Gabby won her election for the State House, becoming the first Democratic Latina elected to the Tennessee legislature. In the legislature she continues to fight for Medicaid expansion, public school funding, immigrant rights, and fair wages.
