Valerie Frias
Valerie Frias is running for an open seat on the Brookline, MA School Committee.
Frias is a parent of two students in the Public Schools of Brookline school district. She is a longtime political and nonprofit leader, and was the Executive Director of Greater Boston PFLAG for a number of years.
Her priorities are managing the COVID-19 recovery with progressive, smart budget management, centering student voices, diversity, equity and inclusion in the schools, and expanding mental health care services for students.
