Sahara Hayes

Sahara Hayes is a Democrat running for election to the Utah House of Representatives.

Sahara is a lifelong resident of Utah and has lived in her State House district for the past 20 years. She serves on the Millcreek Community Council and is on the Board of Directors for the Utah Cultural Celebration Center Foundation. She is currently employed as a professional grant writer.

Her priorities are protecting LGBTQ youth, providing holistic support to public educators, and taking immediate action towards Utah’s environmental crisis. She has been endorsed by Women’s Democratic Club of Utah, Planned Parenthood Action Council of Utah, Equality Utah, Victory Fund, several labor groups, and many local officials.
