Nicole Speer is running for re-election to Boulder City Council in Colorado.

Nicole is a Boulder City Councilmember, scientist, and coalition-builder advancing equity-driven governance, community resilience, and evidence-based policy. A longtime advocate for labor rights and economic justice, she helped raise Boulder’s minimum wage, secure major investments in climate readiness, and advance renter protections and inclusionary housing.

Nicole is the second openly LGBTQ person to ever be elected to Boulder’s City Council.
