Minita Sanghvi

Minita Sanghvi is a Democrat running for Saratoga County Board of Supervisors in New York.

Minita Sanghvi moved to the US in 2001 and became a US citizen in 2010. She has an undergrad in Accounting, an MBA, MS and PhD, and is now a business professor at a liberal arts college in Upstate NY.

In 2021, she ran for City Council in Saratoga Springs, NY and won. In 2023, Minita got reelected for her second term for City Council. She is the first Hindu, the first woman of color, and the first LGBTQ commissioner in the city.
