Marie Pinkney is a Democrat running for the Delaware State Senate.

Pinkney is a social worker and longtime resident of New Castle County. She is focused on addressing healthcare, gun violence, and environmental justice.

Pinkney won her first election earlier this year she won the Democratic primary for this seat by 282 votes – defeating an incumbent who had been in office since 1980.

She has received endorsements from the LGBTQ Victory Fund, the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists, and Progressive Democrats of Delaware, among others.
