Maria Sinkule

Maria Sinkule is running for a seat on the DuPage County Board in Illinois.

Dr. Maria Sinkule is a DuPage County school social worker, community organizer, and longtime public servant. With over two decades of experience supporting students and families, she brings a trauma-informed, equity-driven approach to public service. Maria holds a Doctorate in Social Work, is a co-founder of Grito Latino Addison, where she helps organize and uplift immigrant and Latino voices while building grassroots power in the community. She also runs the Prism Club at her school for LGBTQ students and allies.

Maria ran for this seat in 2024 and earned 44 percent of the vote.
