Maria Hinojos Pressey

Maria Hinojos Pressey is running for Marion County Commission in Oregon.

Maria Cecilia Hinojos Pressey is the first Latina President of the Cherriots Board of Directors, and is the former Vice Chair of the Salem-Keizer School Board. Professionally, Hinojos Pressey is the Deputy Director for PCUN, an organization that advocates for Oregon farmworkers and working Latinx families. She previously worked with a refugee resettlement agency, helping refugees and asylum seekers obtain jobs, navigate public transportation, and settle into new homes.

She is the daughter of Mexican immigrants from Chihuahua, Mexico, and currently lives in Salem with her partner Finley and their 8-year-old daughter.
