Luanne Peterpaul

Luanne Peterpaul is running for election to the New Jersey General Assembly (Legislative District 11). She would be the first openly LGBTQ woman to be elected to the New Jersey State Legislature.

Peterpaul is an attorney in private practice. She previously served as a judge in Asbury Park and Long Branch. She received the LD11 Democratic Committee endorsement in February 2023.

Her priorities are equal rights, including along LGBTQ, racial, and gender lines, improving access to mental health services, and taxes.
