Lori Schreiber

 

 

Lori Schreiber is running for a second term as the Clerk of Courts in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. With a population of more than 850,000, the county it is the 3rd most-populous in Pennsylvania.

Prior to being elected as Clerk of Courts in 2019, Schreiber had a 30-year career in social services and administration. She was elected to the Abington Township Commission in 2005 – she has been re-elected to that office five times and continues to serve as a township commissioner concurrent to her county office.

Her priorities for a second term in office are are continuing to enhance “second chance” programs for those impacted by the criminal justice system, increasing collections of victim restitution fees, and continuing and increasing participation in social justice forums that are interconnected with her position (for example the Opioid Overdose Taskforce).
