Keturah Herron

 

 

Keturah Herron is a Democrat running for a full term in the Kentucky House of Representatives. She was first elected in a February 2022 special election.

Herron is the first LGBTQ person ever elected to the Kentucky State House. She previously was a policy strategist with the ACLU of Kentucky, where she helped pass an ordinance in Louisville banning no-knock warrants.

Herron’s priorities are violence prevention via public health (including gun violence, domestic violence, child abuse, and suicide), increasing the minimum wage, and restoring voting rights to people with felony convictions. She has also been endorsed by the LGBTQ Victory Fund.
