Jess Hanson

State Rep. Jess Hanson is a Democratic-Farmer-Labor candidate running for re-election to the Minnesota State House of Representatives. This is a must-win race for Democrats to keep control of the State House!

Hanson was first elected to the State House in 2020 and is running for a second term. In the Legislature she has been a leader on progressive issues, and serves on the Agriculture, Human Services, and Higher Education committees.

Hanson’s priorities are disability issues and services, child welfare, and legalizing cannabis. She has been endorsed by the Minnesota DFL, Planned Parenthood, Women Winning, AFSCME, SEIU, and numerous other organizations and labor unions.
