Jenna Wadsworth

 

 

Jenna Wadsworth is a Democrat running to become the next North Carolina Commissioner of Agriculture.

Wadsworth is a Wake County Soil and Water Conservation District Supervisor, first elected in 2010. When she won that election at age 21 she became the youngest-ever woman to win elected office in North Carolina. She is the founder and former director of a progressive nonprofit, New Leaders Council.

Wadsworth’s campaign is focused on supporting small farmers, fighting climate change, and bridging the urban-rural divide.
