Jenna Wadsworth

 

 

Jenna Wadsworth is running for re-election to the Wake County Soil and Water Conservation Board of Supervisors.

Jenna was 21 when she was first elected in 2010, making history as the youngest-ever woman elected to public office in North Carolina. She is the co-founder and former director of the progressive nonprofit New Leaders Council North Carolina. She is the managing partner of a fundraising consultancy and a family farmer. Jenna was the Democratic nominee for NC Commissioner of Agriculture in 2020.

Her priorities are supporting farmers, environmental education programming, and enhancing water quality. She has been endorsed by the Sierra Club, Victory Fund, the Wake County Democratic Party, the Raleigh-Wake Citizen’s Association (RWCA), and the Wake County Voter Education Coalition.
