Jamie McCleod-Skinner has a comprehensive career in public service.
She served as a city councilor in Santa Clara, CA., and as a city manager for Phoenix, OR. She also worked as a program manager for the International Rescue Committee in Bosnia and Kosovo. McLeod-Skinner earned a law degree in 2016 from the University of Oregon.
She ran for Congress in 2018 against a long-time incumbent, who ultimately beat her by earning 56 percent of the vote.
McLeod-Skinner lives with her wife, Cass Skinner, and four children ranging in age from 12 to 21, and their doberman, Moshi.
