Dominique Johnson is running in for election to the Connecticut House of Representatives. She would be the only openly LGBTQ woman serving in the Connecticut Legislature.

Dominique currently seres as an at-large member of the Norwalk Common Council. She was appointed to the seat in 2020 and won a full term in 2021. She holds a PhD in Urban Education from Temple University.

Her priorities are advocating for strong public education, improving mental health services for youth, common sense gun reform, and environmental protection. She has been endorsed by the AFL-CIO.
