Deborah Glick

 

 

Deborah Glick is a Democrat running for re-election to the New York State Assembly.

Glick was first elected to the State Assembly in 1990 – she was the first openly LGBTQ person elected to the New York State Legislature and one of the longest-serving LGBTQ politicians in the United States. During her time in office she has been an effective and outspoken advocate for LGBTQ rights and women’s reproductive rights. She is the Chair of the Committee on High Education.

Glick is focused on reproductive rights and justice, LGBTQ empowerment issues, and environmental conservation and protection.
