Alejandra Salinas

Alejandra Salinas is running for Houston City Council in Texas.

As a nationally-recognized attorney, Alejandra Salinas has protected Harris County elections from partisan interference, reversed discriminatory school policies, and stood up to Donald Trump. As president of the College Democrats of America, Alejandra courageously came out as an LGBTQ Latina on national television during the 2012 Democratic National Convention to inspire LGBTQ youth to find their own voices.

Alejandra serves on the board of Greater Houston LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce and is a partner at Susman Godfrey LLP.
