Susanna Johnson

Susanna Johnson is running for Snohomish County Sheriff in Washington.

Johnson has worked in law enforcement for more than three decades and has received numerous awards and accolades throughout her career. She is a decorated graduate of the FBI National Academy, the most sought-after executive law enforcement leadership training in the world, and was the first woman in the state of Washington to be SWAT trained.

With a population of 828,000, Snohomish County is the third-largest county in Washington and is located just north of Seattle. Johnson is focused on improving public trust in the Sheriff's Office and addressing crime using evidence based strategies. She is challenging incumbent Sheriff Adam Fortney, a far-right conservative who has faced three recall efforts.
