Heather Meyer

Rep. Heather Meyer is a Democrat running for election to the Kansas House of Representatives.

Meyer was appointed to the State House in 2021. She serves on the Insurance and Pensions, Elections, Health and Human Services, and Water Committees. She is a longtime political volunteer and activist and managed the Johnson County coordinated campaign in 2016. Outside of politics she is a medical social worker.

Her priorities are expanding Medicaid, fully funding public schools, and creating an economy that works for everyone. She has been endorsed by Kansas Education Association, Mainstream Coalition, Planned Parenthood, Equality Kansas, Victory Fund, and several other labor and advocacy organizations.
