Gretchen Van Ness

Gretchen Van Ness is running for election to the Massachusetts House of Representatives in the 14th Suffolk District.

Van Ness is an attorney who has worked in private practice and in state and federal service. Most recently she served as legal counsel in the Massachusetts State Senate. She serves on the Ward 18 Democratic Committee.

Van Ness’s main priority is ensuring that the front-line and essential workers in her district are supported and protected during the COVID-19 pandemic. She is progressive and supports moving to a single-payer health system and the green new deal.
