Carrie Hamblen is the Democratic nominee for New Mexico's 38th State Senate district.

Hamblen is a longtime resident of Las Cruces, New Mexico. She was a longtime public radio host and more recently served as the President of the city’s Green Chamber of Commerce.

Hamblen has been a longtime advocate for the LGBTQ community, and served as the chair of Southern New Mexico PRIDE for a number of years.
