Angelita Morillo
Angelita Morillo is running for a seat on the Portland City Council in Oregon.
Having moved from Paraguay to the United States as a child, Morillo’s experiences as a queer immigrant who has experienced homelessness have shaped and developed her interest in local government and policy. She currently works as an anti-hunger Policy Advocate with Partners For a Hunger-Free Oregon.
In her spare time, she runs an educational TikTok and Instagram - where she has 32,000 followers - to pull back the curtain on local government politics and policies for the average person.
